The Democratic Green Party of Rwanda has urged its members at the sector level to remain close to communities, listen to their concerns and play an active role in finding solutions to the challenges they face.

The call was made on November 7, 2026, during a meeting and training session that brought together Green Party members in Ngoma District.

Dr. Muyoboke Samuel, the Green Party’s Eastern Province Chairperson, said sector-level members are expected to maintain close contact with residents, understand their concerns and contribute to addressing issues affecting their communities.

He also urged the members to work towards portraying a positive image of the party among Rwandans and Rwanda’s friends through constructive activities.

The training is part of the Green Party’s efforts to strengthen the capacity of its members and leaders at different levels and prepare them to effectively carry out their responsibilities within their communities.
